My church youth group is holding a dessert auction on Sunday for their upcoming missions trip (to El Salvador) and I volunteered to make a cake for it. I'm not sure if I should go traditional or funky as we're trying to appeal to the members with cash . I was thinking of a two tier with a cross on top and lots of lilies (thinking of Easter) but would love to have other suggestions! I could go with buttercream or fondant. Thanks in advance!
