IOn a 2 cup measure put in 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons (1 T + 1 t = 1/2 t) lemon juice or vinegar. Add enough milk to reach the 1 1/3 cup mark on the measuring cup.

The formula is 1 T acid + enough milk to = 1 cup.
