I was going to purchase Make-The-Cut software for cake decorating but now they say it is no longer compatible with the cricut cake. There is something called Sure Cuts A Lot 2, but they say it's not as easy to use. Does anyone know anything about these or something similar? I already decorate cakes but this would just add another dimension without having to purchase any more cartridges.

I have have heard about provocraft suing or something to that effect which is the reason for them saying that it's not compatible. I have sure cuts alot 2 and it works fine.

I also have SCAL 2, and I actually found it easier to use than MTC. But apparently Provocraft is suing SCAL as well, so if you want to get it, do it before it becomes incompatible as well.

Also, if you purchase SCAL, do not update it once they settle any lawsuites with provocraft and do not update the firmware on your Cricut. From what I have read on here it will keep you from using the SCAL. Here are 2 recent post regarding the matter. Many people have removed tutorials on using SCAL and MTC because of the threat of lawsuits from provocraft.
