Out of cake flour, Publix has none......can I use regular self rising or all purpose flour??? I know, probably a stupid question, but REALLY need an answer! TIA!! icon_surprised.gificon_cry.gif

Yes, you can use all purpose flour but you have to cut down the amount if your recipe specifies cake flour. Cake flour is much lighter than all purpose. But you can look for the equivalents on the internet, or Im sure their posted somewhere on here...or if someone has a box of Softsilk laying around, they can look it up for you!
