Hello, I am from Calgary, Alberta Canada and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find bulk bags of icing/confectioners sugar. I keep buying the small bags and it's getting expensive!

thank you

Do ya'll have Sam's Club there? I buy 7lb bags at Sams for around $6 each. It does get expensive when you have to keep buying those small bags! If ya'll don't have Sams, maybe another warehouse type club? HTH

personally i only buy small bags b/c they're pre-measured icon_smile.gif Talk to your grocery manager and see if they can give you a break if you order a case of the smaller bags. Some of the stores around me will do it.

I don't think you will have much luck. I buy mine at costco and they are only 1kg bags and I haven't been able to find anything bigger. We have a Bulk Barn opening here in Okotoks soon and I am hoping then I will be able to buy it in bulk. The nice thing about that size is it makes a batch of fondant or buttercream so no measuring needed.

The ONLY place I've found is The Real Canadian Wholesale Club. A 20kg bag usually costs around $35.

I haven't been to RCHC lately. Guess I need to go. Last time I was there they didn't have anything that big.
