I have a recipe for modeling chocolate and it seems pretty simple. Just wondering if I can use my fondant and gumpaste flower cutters on modeling chocolate. Will it work the same? Also what are some things that I should know before I embark on using modeling chocolate.

Off topic what do you all do if where you live the air is really dry and makes working fondant impossible?

Yes you can use the same tools. It responds a little differently but it is fun fun fun to work with. It makes really pretty flowers and great people. You have a lot more time to work with it so it is possible to get great details! Have a go at it you'll love it and it taste so much better than gum paste.

So what are the major things I should know about before trying my hand with modeling chocolate? What do you all do when your fondant is really dry and cracking.
