I'm applying for a job as a cake decorator at a local bakery. The owner wants me to come in for a "working interview", where I would basically decorate a cake for her. I don't know what type of decor would be best. She wants to see my butter cream skills. There are absolutely NO cakes on her website that have butter cream or sugar flowers, they are all real flowers, so I'm not sure if a cake covered in flowers is what she's looking for. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would suggest doing plenty of different techniques so that they can see the different things you can do. Really the more the better I would have thought without the cake just ending up looking like a practice/mess!
I guess although they use fresh flowers now it might be that the current decorator(s) can't?
