Hello! I have made a kitchen cake (1/2 sheet, 2 layers) and have a RKT firetruck that will sit on top of the cake. I am about half way through covering the RKT in fondant and it already weighs 1 1/2 pounds. I am thinking that I should put a cake board and bubble tea straws underneath the truck to support it on the cake. Do you all think that I need to add supports? TIA and happy caking!

Do you have skewers that you could push into the bottom of the truck and cut to length?
