I had a bday cake to make for tues, just a single tier 9inch cake. I made the flowers and pieces for the bow on sunday night out of fondant. They were all hardened by monday when i finished the cake. I put the cake with the finished bow and flowers on it, inside a cake carrier over night, when i when i woke up the flowers were not hard anymore and were laying flat on the cake and the bow had drooped some as well. I was wondering why this happend, was it because i put it in a closed container and the moisture from the cake did this? If so how do i transport cakes without this happening again? Thanks for the help!

Yes, it was from the closed container. Put the cake in a box that's not sealed to prevent it from happening again.
