I am making theses for my nephews b-day party on friday but would like to frost the whole thing instead of just the border as pictured. However I'm afraid that if I put frosting on it all the dino details will be lost. Is there a good glaze that wouldn't hide the shape that I could just pour over it and then pipe the outline?

What about really thin royal icing poured over them? If you make it really thin it is still pretty translutent and you could tint it green and make it with lemon juice or another juice for flavour.

i agree, a thin royal icing or petit four frosting would probably be best
