Hello,

A bride asked me to make this cake in butter cream. Can be done ? How about details, use fondant? How to stick the detail to the butter cream sides, so won't come down?
How about the price?

Thank you!

I just made my first bc cake to look like something other than cake. I used the wilton buttercream recipe with a square of chocolate in it (the suitcase in my gallery). I had troubles getting it as smooth as I wanted it. It never seemed to crust. I tried adding corn starch and still didn't crust. I think it can be done for a wedding cake, I have seen lots of beautiful bc cakes. The fondant stuck to the buttercream no problem, for the handle, I took a plug out of the buttercream and used royal icing, to make sure it stayed. No help for the price, but I am sure it depends on how big / how many servings.
Good luck,
Jenna
