Please help with a very basic stupid question. How much (quantity) is a box of instant pudding? I am about to try my first modified cake mix (I usually scratch bake) by adding instant pudding to the cake mix but I am in the UK so expect a packet of our pudding mix is a different quantity to in the US.
I have a box of white cake mix and a 60g packet of strawberry cake mix - will this work do you think?
I realise a lot of you use much more additions but I thought I would keep it fairly simple for a first attempt. Does this sound ok though?

A quick response would be most appreciated because I am hoping to do it in the next hour.
Thank you!

The instant pudding mix is 85g in weight. The product itself is a pre-gelatinized starch. In the UK, Sth African importers have Moir's Instant Pudding [90g] available.

Ditto on U.S. cake mixes.

Cake mixes (Duncan Hines, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury) in the U.S. average 18.25 oz. or 517 g.

Jello brand instant pudding (4 servings) weighs 3.4 oz or 96 g.
