Ok. My niece is having a ice skate party. Of course she wants a ice skate. I would love to make it stand up instead of laying it flat. Any suggestions how to construct it.

If you could make the skates blade out of a piece of gray painted wood and then run dowel rods through it you could stack layers on the dowels and then sculpt the cake as the skate. It may be a little top heavy though, so the base would have to be large enough to support it. Hope that helps!
