So, how does everyone deal with getting burned out??? Ive been doing cakes for quite a while now and up until recently- loved it..... Im considering going on hiatus.....anybody else in the same boat?

Yes - and I went on hiatus for 4 years. Then slowly got back into it the way I started the first time, doing things for friends and such - next thing I knew I was busy again and had to go get legal.

Raise your prices because your are obviously very busy...Then you will be doing 4 cakes for the same price as 10.

Actually, I am currently working for someone else. Up until a year ago, I had my own business, but moved to a new state and started working for them. They are great people and I like them a lot.....but I guess it just makes you feel different when someone else's business gets credit for your work..... So, I gave my notice yesterday! I'm hoping by taking a break, I will regain the passion I used to have!
