Has anyone in the Denver area taken any of the classes offered at Cake Crafts?

I was looking at taking some classes and was wondering if anyone had opinions of theirs.

Thanks!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that place icon_lol.gif! I haven't taken any classes yet but I'm keeping my eye out for something that's worth the drive and works with my schedule. You know that Sharon Zambito and Rebecca Sutterby are teaching a Topsy Turvey class there in February, right?

I didn't know you were teaching there next month!! The Topsy Turvy class is listed for April 30th online. So the one next month is probably full then huh....

Thanks Sharon!!

I checked out the info and sent an email in.

I'm wondering if there is a skill level you need to have to take the class. I'm just a self taught decorator and only do it for fun, but would love to take your class. I'm just worried I wouldn't be at the same skill level as advanced decorators.

I would suggest you have some experience in covering cakes with fondant. the carving is pretty basic, and the gumpaste bow and jewels would be ok for a beginner. The covering them with fondant and carving would be the biggest challenge, but if you have some experience in those you should be ok
