I am buying hexagon cake pans online. When it says 12" that means 12" from one flat side to the opposite flat side, right? Not 12" from one corner to the other corner. Yes?

so If I get a 12" hexagon pans I could put a 12" round on top....

I just measured mine & that is how mine are sized. 12" is 12" from side to side, not from corner to corner. A 12" round should sit on top. thumbs_up.gif

I bought the Wilton sets of hexagon, heart, round, and petal pans and find that I have to put the actual pans on top of one another to get the right sizes for the tiers.
