Hi. I CANNOT find the sugar free white chcolate Torani Syrup anywhere. Is there ANYTHING I can use to replace the 1 and 1/3 cups that I would need for this recipe?
you can try the jello white chocolate pudding and maybe melt in some real white chocolate. I think Silver Cloud also has a White Chocolate extract.
Here is the recipe, this might be helpful....
White Chocolate (Raspberry) Cake - fievel
2 boxes white cake mix
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 packet white chocolate pudding
1 1/2 teas. salt
8 egg whites
1 1/3 cup sugar free White Chocolate Torani Syrup (World Market sells it)
1 1/3 cup milk
4 Tbls. vegetable oil
2 cups white chocolate raspberry yogurt
6 oz melted white chocolate chips added at the end.
*To frost them I used the white truffle filling with seedless raspberry preserves mixed it.
The instructions are really easy. Just dump all of the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix until combined. I actually found the white chocolate sugar free syrup in my grocery store (Safeway), in the coffee isle. White chocolate coffee creamer would probably work well too. The white chocolate taste is hard to capture in the cake, but this cake did get AMAZING reviews!! I frosted it with a raspberry cream cheese frosting that I made. I used a basic cream cheese frosting recipe but substituted raspberry cream cheese for the regular kind. Hope that helps a bit!
