How Long Does Buttercream Last?

I use it up to 3 weeks but still after that it looks perfect!
So I was wondering how long do you keep using your buttercream (refrigerated ofcourse)
My recipe containes Crisco, Icing Sugar, Water & Vanilla... how long would you use my recipe for??

Wilton says that recipe is good for up to 2 weeks.

In a tightly sealed container in the fridge for months. OR you can freeze it in a tightly sealed container too.

You\\\\\\'ll get different answers for different recipes. Sugar is a preservative, so even if your recipe has milk in it, it can be room temperature shelf stable depending on the ratio.

You can find lots of threads on this subject... here\\\\\\'s one that I found easily (can\\\\\\'t search for more now--keep getting server errors)...
