Hello,
I have a bride who would like to try almond filling at her tasting. I asked if she meant a custard type or a cream type, but she wasn't sure. What type of almond filling is typical in a wedding cake? I have found recipes that are basically a cooked almond custard & 1 that is an uncooked cream, and has a raw egg in it. What is typically used & what is a good recipe?
