Large Tree Out Of Modeling Chocolate

I am making the Auburn University logo for a grooms cake. The bride really wants to incorporate a large tree that looks like its decorated with toilet paper.....(an Auburn tradition) anyway- I want to know the best way to construct this tree out of modeling chocolate or other mediums.......any ideas?!?!?!?! Thanks for any help!!

I use rice krispy treats and cover it in brown mmf...if you look at the baby shower cake with a tree on top you can see how it turns out....I had vines instrad of toilet paper hehe
