I have heard of sugarveil but has never used it. What exactly is it? Can I make my own or do I have to order it off online. What is so special about it. Just wondering.

Sugar Veil pipes like royal icing, but when it drys (cures) it's still flexible. I just started using it about a month ago to pipe some intricate lacework. It allowed me to pipe on a flat surface, tracing a pattern underneath my parchment paper. Once it cured I could then place them on the cake and bend it to the curvature without fear of it breaking. It's neat stuff!
