I have heard that instead of mixing frosting with cake to make cake balls, some people mix liquid coffee creamer. Does anyone know where I would find information on this? I did a search but didn't come up with anything. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place

Yep I do it. I just add a tiny amount though because my cakes are pretty moist already. I use the WASC recipes with the creamers as well!

Go to Recipes, type in: Cake Balls Coffee Creamer
It is a recipe that uses Red Velvet cake, but you could use any flavor cake you want to.

I always use coffee creamer - the flavors are endless. . I have also used eggnog.

I've used creamer but very little. Frosting is too sweet to my liking and cakes are moist as is so you only need a little bit of any liquid to help hold the cake ball together and if you want, added flavor.
