Hi! I'm going to be making a dinosaur cake similar to these super-cute cakes here:

http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1835167
(they're not mine)
and they want it to serve about 15. I'm trying to get an idea of how much cake to start with before carving, or what the dimensions should be of the finished dino to end up with about 15 servings. Any ideas? I find that unless it's a regular shape, I'm really bad at estimating servings.
Thanks!!! icon_confused.gif

I would use a half ball pan for the body, then use rkt for the head and tail.
