dont know the size of the motor on the sugar veil pen, but i do know that if you go to a pet store (walmarts might have them) and get a fish tank motor it should work.
I have the fabric paint pen and it does work. But i wasn't happy with the size of the motor that came with it. So i bought a new one that has an adjustable air flow.

I have been looking for that info also but I can't find it.
ETA: Not the fabric pen but the motor of the sugarveil pen.

I thought the fabric pen was similar to the suction pen Sugarveil sells that picks up sugar pearls.
