I use icing fruit all the time but I don't use SMBC.

Yes, they work fine, although you will have small pieces of fruit pulp in your frosting.

Thanks for the info ladies. I bought pretty much all the flavors to try them out with my BC. They smell really good....is the taste really artificial or do they taste pretty good? I'm assuming you just add into your BC depending on how strong of taste you want?

I LOVE their icing fruits...use them in my buttercream all the time. Orange with chocolate cake, pineapple with a white cake...delicious. Don't make Swiss Merigue Buttercream but don't see why not. It is pretty strong so taste as you add.
