Anyone have a great cake leveler they love? i would love to have an agbay, but am thinking of something more affordable for now. I have the little Wilton one, but don't think it is that great. I saw one on globalsugarart that was a fat daddio brand. Any experience with that one? Thanks!

Really the Agbay is the only one worth the money.

Until you can afford it (hey - the holidays are right around the corner. Ask EVERYONE to pool their gift $ for you and get the Agbay) use the top of the pan and a long knife. Use the edges of the pan as a guide and slice off the dome. Remove the cake from the pan, put in enough cardboards to raise the cake up to whatever height is appropriate and repeat the slice. The cake is now level and torted.
