My sps legs are about an inch too short. I've got a 6" and 8" square I need to stack. All I have on hand that I think might work is bamboos skewers or drinking straws (I have both regular straws and the large stir stick variety)

The customer is transporting the cake just over an hour away. I'm going to make her stack it when she gets there, what do you think I should use?

I would use the thicker straws, NO WAY would I trust bamboo skewers.

Yeah, bubble tea straws should work for a 2 tier.

BTW, SPS legs come precut in 5" lengths, too. Plus the 9" length that you can cut to whatever length you need.
