whats the deal on tax when it comes to baked goods sold at a festival? Is there a sales tax?

May I suggest that you check with your local and state tax laws.

You should check with your local and state tax board. It's wierd here in CA. You only charge sales tax if there is an admittance fee. For instance, I do 2 Harvest festivals where there is a fee for the public to come to event, I must charge sales tax. When I do boutiques where no admittance fee, no sales tax..

It all seems so arbitrary..hopefully WA makes more sense.
btw-I used to live in Seattle.Love it up there...
