I was wondering if anyone has a good recipe for an invisible gingerbread house glue? I've tried melted sugar and it's great because it dries rock-hard, but it hardens so quickly that it's difficult to use. Is there something I can add to the sugar to slow down the drying process? Thanks in advance!

why did you want it clear? ive always used royal icing. i suppose you could use chocolate too, might be more difficult too see it as its brown nd would blend in?

Maybe you can colour some royal icing the same shade of brown as ginger bread? Royal icing works very good for me...

The style of house I'm making would look better I think if the royal icing didn't show... I agree royal icing is great and holds the house together really well. But I've heard of people using a sugar glue to hold it together instead, so I thought that might be less visible. Colouring royal icing the same as the gingerbread might work well too. Thanks for the suggestions!
