how awesome was Karen Portaleo??? what an amazing artist!

i felt so bad for the new girl...everything went bad, at least she kept trying...i don't know if i would have had the guts to stick it out.

She is still a winner in my book. She stuck it out and put a cake on the judging table. Just imagine how prepared she will be next time!

I don't know how those competitors take that kind of pressure.

Karen Portaleo's cake was jaw-droppingly gorgeous! The hair on her mermaid...the moon...wow! It's such a shame that she didn't get the theme/story right. And she's only been decorating cakes for 3 years!

My heart was breaking for the new girl but I was so impressed with her perseverence and her positive attitude.

I thought the winning cake was a hoot!
