I've seen so many cool witches cauldrons on this site...any suggestions on construction? I was thinking an 8", then a couple 9" rounds, then an 8" on bottom to get the basic shape?

Also for those of you who have done something similar in size, do you put a separater in the middle for easier cutting? I really don't want to have to cut really tall skinny pieces, it's for a halloween party with lots of kids so I want to be able to have small pieces.

TIA!

you could use the oven proof pyrex bowls to bake it in. they come in lots of different sizes and will have that rounded shape for the bottom and wider top. Any oven proof casserole dish would work.

The cauldron cake in my pictures was one 8" on the bottom and three 10" on top. I put a separator plate in the middle with supports and it all came together pretty well! Good luck!
