I want to try one of these recipes today but cannot decide between the two.
They both sound wonderful! Have any of you tried both and if so what were the comparisons? The buttermilk in Rebecca's sounds great, I almost wish I could make a hybrid of the two!
I read that Roses can be dry, but I plan to weigh all my ingredients.
Any advice or suggestions out there?

I have Rebecca's, but I've never made it. I just googled Rose's. I haven't got a reason behind this, but I'd make Rebecca's if I was choosing. (you'll get more cake also)

Oh I was ALOT of help....LOL

Good Luck!

ALSO a Red Velvet (which is cocoa in flavor) is buttermilk base in liquid.

Thanks for your input! Hmmmm, I may try to sub buttermilk for the milk in Roses's recipe and see how that does.... I hate being so indecisive!
