I finally baked the famous wasc cake and it is delicious to say the least. I am going to do the cake in the link above in 14"(2 cakes),10" (3 cakes), and 6" (2 cakes) tiers.
Do you guys think i can decorate this wasc cake with wilton fondant and it can hold the weight????

Anyways,,yesss...you can use the WASC but make sure your dowel rods are high enough so next layer is sitting on dowels...you have to have a good support system for this height!! Don't let cakes sit on directly together b/c this cake is moist. The SPS system works I heard too.

Lol that was me on the how to forum..I had this other question regarding the wasc and decided to post it here.
Yes i will use plastic dowels the same height of the cake the next tier is sitting on the dowels....
