How long will fresh flowers last on a cake if the are inserted into frosting? I have a cake that I'm delivering on Monday. I would like to finish the cake tonight but I know she isn't serving the cake until Tuesday. If I put the flowers on the cake tonight will they still look good on Tuesday?

They would probably be wilted by Tuesday, unless prepped properly with stem holder and refrigerated. Also, be careful what kind of flowers you put directly into a cake, some are highly toxic and you don't want to make anyone sick.

Enjoy your day. icon_smile.gif

I have roses. I have been told that the moisture in the frosting will keep them alive for some time. It will be kept in the fridge tonight.
