Hello I have a football cake pan and am putting the two halves together. it will sit on a sheet cake below. The 3d football will be tilted on a angle standing up right. I was thinking I needed to put 5/8" dowels in the football portion going all the way down to the base, but I do not know how to angle the dowels or if they should be attached to base? Please help! I don't want my cake to fall over and crumble. I want the cake to look as if it busted through the sheet cake which I would decorate as grass. I'm new to this
