I am trying to make burgandy fondant and buttercream and I am having a hard time making it dark. Right now I have a nice purple but I was looking for a deeper color. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I just had a cake this weekend that gave me more gray hairs because of the burgandy mmf grrrr ! I made my mmf with pink marshmallows so I wouldnt have to add so much gel coloring , added small amount of brown fonfant to the burgandy. All this after ruining 2 batches of mmf because of adding to much color and breaking down my fondant !!!
