I'm making a wedding cake I saw in Martha Stewarts book. It has grape leaves she did in white chocolate, but I did them with a mix of gumpaste and fondant. I need to put clusters of grapes scattered around on top of the leaves. Our grape season here is now. If I buy them now can I freeze them and use them later. I don't want shriveled flat grapes on the cake. Any advise would be great!

put some in the freezer for a week and see what happens to them when you take them out. Not sure how they will be when they come to room temp as i generally eat themwhile still partially frozen. Does your market not have grapes year round?
