Hi CC Family,

I am making a fruit rum cake. How many pounds of cake batter would the wilton book cake pan hold?

Thanks,

It depends on your recipe. Can you weigh a cup of your particular batter?

According to the instructions, the Wilton Book pan holds one cake mix, or 4-6 cups of batter. The Two-Mix Book Pan would obviously be double that amount. If your recipe does not rise much, I would aim for the maximum amount of cups for your pan.

I've never had to figure the weight... just gone by cups.
