Has anyone ever used the glaze icing (for cookies) on a carved cake to keep it from breaking or falling apart where it was carved?
If so, did it work well?
I am trying it today, and to be honest I am scared of the out come.

Ok just so everyone knows, IT WORKED GREAT!!!
I let it dry for only 2 hrs, My bet is that 4-6 would have been best, but still it had hardened just enough to put a crumb coat with out tearing one corner..
I will be trying this again.
