So I'd love to try my hand at making a sculpted 3d cake, but need a bit of guidance. Does anyone know of any heavily detailed tutorials? When I say 'heavily detailed', I mean I was just reading one which said to use dowels inbetween layers. I don't now how to use dowels! Amongst other things

Thanks for the reply - are you able to point me to what it's called? I can't find a reference to 3D, or carved... or am I going blind and completely missing it?
