Hi Everyone. I am new to cake decorating and I am looking for a choc. cake recipe that is good but dense enough to stack and carve. I have tried the box cakes and they seem to be to airy. Do you add anything to them to help make them firmer? There are so many choc cake recipes in the recipe section I don't know which one to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am attempting a Lego cake for my twin grandsons this weekend! Thank you

Use the Hershey's Collector's Cocoa Cake recipe found here. It's nice and moist and firm and the poster said it was good for carving.

I really like the Durable Cake for 3D and Wedding Cakes which is also listed here under recipes.
