I am trying to make a cake, and never really had this problem until recently, I used boxed cake mix and my cakes do not seem to be very fluffy. I am using the oil, water, and large eggs like suggested in a 9 inch non stick light colored circle pan. Any suggestions on how I can get it to be fluffier?
If the cake is not rising, check to see how old the box mix is. I had that problem once and the cake mix was 6 months old. Flat as can be.
I checked the expiration and it is still good, but thank you for the suggestion, I had not thought of that.
