Need Help For Strange Request!!!
Decorating By beesmommy Updated 9 Sep 2010 , 3:33am by imagenthatnj
Hi i am fairly new at cake decorating and do it mainly as a hobby...my daughter's friend is having a "Glow Party" the preteens are having all neon themed decorations and the location is decorated with blacklights...she wants to know if there is anyway to make the cake..."GLOW in the DARk" i was thinking that WHITE was the best solution since white glows under a blacklight, but wasn't sure how to get another color or neon to show up...any suggestions or experience here? Thanks!!!
There was a thread awhile back about glow in the dark icing made with tonic water...I'll see if I can find it!

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the cake or thread I was looking for, but those two have some ideas. If anyone else has it saved, I'm referring to the ghost buster's cake with tonic water piping gel that had a great green glow.
Good luck in your search.
EDIT:
Found it!

Thread about glow-in-the-dark cake. Haven't read through it, but maybe there's some insight into the matter.
