I'm making a birthday cake for my niece in 2weeks... looking for a icing recipe that I can use to ice the cake with?

Something newbie proof would be best, and great tasting!! I'm doing a two layer chocolate and vanilla or yellow cake, filled with strawberry mousse... and I wanted to pipe decorations on the cake with the same icing...

Please help, I'm soo lost!
