So im doing a cake for a woman and she wants silver branches all over the cake with flowers etc..

Does anyone know if you can put luster dust in fondant to make it silver? the cake is going to be butterceam and the branches are going to be fondant. I didnt want to have to paint each branch seeing as that would take tons of time...

any ideas???

the easiest way to get this is to color the fondant a light grey so when you do paint it it will only take one or two coats to get your silver look. Sadly, kneading in silver luster dust just makes the fondant sparkly, not really silver.
