What is the difference between sparkle dust, luster dust and disco dust. Can someone please share this information.

Fairy dust and disco dust are essentially the same thing. There is a lot of controversy about these two as they are labeled non-toxic, but also should be used on non-edible decorations. I do know lots of people that use them right on cakes and haven't had any problems. They are super sparkly (think of dorothy's slippers from the wizard of oz or a disco ball).

Luster dust is used more frequently in baking as an accent for cakes/ sugar pieces, etc. It comes in a superfine powder in tons of colors and pearl shades.
