I am stumped for ideas on the cake, I know she will like anything I make, I am still not sure how many guests (but there were around 90 for her 75th birthday party) The party is just over a month from now.
I am open to just about anything but no more than 2 tiers, right now I am thinking of marble cake with chocolate ganache filling and bc decorations, since she never eats fondant.
Thanks

What are some of the things she enjoys doing? You can always make some
of the cake for decorations out of those. And what lady doesn't love flowers?
I would make lots of different flowers for her cake or just lots of her
favorite flower(s).

I am not sure what her favorites are and the only activity I can think of is red hatters, but I can't get more info without spoiling th suprise becouse grandpa doesn't know either.

It sounds really dangerous to surprise an 80 year old grammaicon_smile.gif I also think you can't go wrong with flowers in her favorite colour or the red hatters...I have no idea what red hatters areicon_smile.gif Please be gentle when surprising gramma thoughicon_smile.gificon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

How about contacting some of the 90 who attended her 75th!! I'm sure one or 2
would be able to give you some input as to what she enjoys. icon_smile.gif But the Red
Hatters is a great idea. you could do their logo then surround it with red and
purple flowers!! If you feel you need to write on the cake too, then just put
''I gotta be me'' on it since it's what Red Hatters do. icon_smile.gif
