Hello,
I just found out I have to travel for the two days before my daughter's Birthday, and I really wanted to make her a "Toodee" Cake. If I bake off the cake, with filling and then frosting will it keep for 3 days? Can I at least bake off the cake and then I only have to frost and decorate that night? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. icon_sad.gif

Bake it, fill it, crumb-coat. Chill that so the crumb-coat sets hard. Wrap in 2 layers of plastic and then a layer of foil. Pop it into the freezer. Defrost & decorate when you need it.
