i want to order new boxes for single cupcakes. brp is usually my go to. i've just actually finished up an order of plastic ones from plastic container, easy to use, but just not pretty. What I'm wondering is, do you think with a single cupcake, an insert is reeeaaaalllly needed? I'm looking on ebay too and there are 3x3 boxes. Maybe with a smaller box it could hold it better? Since it's not my store that they are sold in, I want to make it easy for the workers to use the boxes, KWIM?

I do think the inserts are very necessary.

Only if you want a nice-looking cupcake. icon_razz.gif

Here's a good test: put the cupcake in a box without an insert, then tell someone who doesn't know what's in the box to carry it up and down a flight of stairs. If the cupcake still looks good, you probably don't need an insert.
