Has anyone ever substituted cream cheese for the sour cream in the WASC recipe? Just wondering if that would work for a cream cheese cake I've been asked to make.

Cream cheese and sour cream are two different animals and cannot be subbed for each other.
Look for a cream cheese pound cake recipe.
It will have many of the same characteristics of the WASC.
